And a frustrating one. I really want to come up with something cool and find a way to make money off of it. Like a commercial GNU/Linux distro that is completely libre. I don't know if anything like that exists. Like a Red Hat Linux, except with proper terminology and a libre philosophy instead of merely "open source."

Having it completely Libre will mean the OS is free too, so your best bet will be to run a business or something like that where you seel a service like installing GNU/Linux on people's computers, or you program a web site for them using only Libre code.

Web development doesn't interest me much, I'm afraid. But RMS says that just because software is libre doesn't mean you can't charge for it. It's probably not a good business model because the end user is free to redistribute the software as he sees fit, but OS/software deployment and administration is definitely a thing. Not something I'm personally interested in doing, but it might be a good business for you.
