I am now using Void on my laptop. It uses runit instead of systemd, and it uses the xbps package management system. I'm using Xfce, as per the norm. There is no proprietary software of any kind on my system, even though the distro isn't technically FSF-approved. I think I'm in love. <3 www.voidlinux.eu/

Nice. Now, head over to the screenshot threat and post some screenshots of your desktop.

It doesn't look too much different.

I got frustrated with how small the Void repository is and decided to try Manjaro OpenRC. That was just a pain in the ass, so I'm back with Arch and *sigh* systemd...

It doesn't look too much different. But it will give you the opportunity to post more screenshots.

That's pretty much what I'm doing. I am STILL pissed about how crappy Manjaro OpenRC was.

It's always disappointing when a distro isn't well build.

No kidding. I guess systemd is just inevitable.

I can't help it. Oh man, I booted the Funtoo CD earlier, and watching OpenRC was so much fun.

Watching my Debian boot is fun too. I seriously get a kick out of watching init scripts run; I don't know why. Maybe my first major project will be writing my own init for use in my eventual OS.
