My degree is in Network Administration, and I ended up taking it based off of interest, location, and price. Didn't learn much the first year, since I already knew most of it, but after that, I have learned plenty about computer (mostly Wangblow$ products  ). It feels great to be almost done, but I really wish it was a heavier focus on security and GNU/Linux. |

Haven't heard anything back from the places I have applied for. And, I am focusing on IT security, it's just that's sadly not my degree. I would love to get an IT security job.

I haven't applied much recently, but I will continue to apply and Chicago will continue to be one of the places I will look for a job.
